Dr. Howard completed his undergraduate and graduate study at the University of Detroit, Mercy, eventually attaining his PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2015. Dr. Howard has extensive education, training and experience in forensic psychology. In his work for the Third Circuit Court of Michigan, Dr. Howard has conducted hundreds of evaluations, including competency/criminal responsibility, dispositional, and family assessments. Dr. Howard also has experience providing testimony in court as a forensic psychology expert, cultivating his awareness concerning the legal and regulatory constraints involved in the psychological assessment process. This experience has also provided him with a keen appreciation for the complexities involved in risk assessment, and the importance of providing sound and defensible evaluations and written reports. Dr. Howard works well autonomously and in a multidisciplinary environment and is excited to be part of the Psychological Dimensions team.
